Measuring the quality of life in health
Currently a critical assessment of the quality of life measurements in the field of health is needed. This will expand the scope of efforts and increase the benefits received by patients on their well-being.
Quality of life is a unique and personal perception, which shows how individual patients feel about their health and / or non-medical aspects of their lives. Consequently, most measures of quality of life in the medical literature seem to exclude at least a fundamental dimension of the phenomenon: the perceptual dimension.
Quality of life is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon that can be accurately measured only if it is considered, in addition to the objective dimension of well-being, the patients perception about what specialists call domains of life: Work Life; Spiritual Life; Familiy Life; Emotional Life; Community Life; Leisure & Recreation Life; Love Life; School Life; and Financial & Economic Life.
This only to establish the importance of further improving on the quality of life studies in the field of health, as well as in other key areas of life.
